To produce chips/flakes, our customers have more than one preparation and configuration method available:

  • Full steam cooking method.
  • Preparation method: Moisten and then steam.
  • Soak and then steam method.

Flak is the latest technology for preparing grains and legumes of various types for use in feed formulations in general or as independent meals for animal feeding.
Also, the nutritional value of the raw materials used in feed, regardless of their type, differs after they pass through the flaking process in their original form. Therefore, you can say that the grains are transformed from a traditional product to a super product.

In this production line, the product is treated with several important basic treatments, which are purification, disinfection, humidification, then steam cooking for 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of product, in a special way, to raise the moisture level and kill mycotoxins, then it is treated with pressure until the density reaches the required size, then the product is dried to get rid of moisture with hot dry air in two stages, then with cold air in the final stage.
